Château de Rayne Vigneau 2010

Rayne Vigneau Castle is located in the Sauternes appellation. The official ranking of 1855 places the Vigneau among the first wines of Sauternes. In 1897, the largest broker Daney assigns the forefront immediately after Yquem. This is Albert de Pontac, nephew of Mrs. Rayne, which gives its name to "Rayne Vigneau" in the property. Sauternes demand special care of the vineyard to the winery. The vineyard, one piece covers a wide rump dominating the Sauternes. His basement of sandy gravel, sitting on a clay platform, reveals astonishing wealth, agate, sapphire, rock crystal, signaling a precious wine.

Rayne Vigneau Sauternes 2016
The Rayne Vigneau Sauternes was recommended at Uvinum, so I bought it.
Has a very cheerful colour. Stays a quite a few time in the mouth.

Needs to be drunk with the right food. I opened this 2015 with a friend.
Its intense colour attracted me. The wine was ok.

This Sauternes entertained us while waiting for food. It was part of a Corporate gift.
Attractive and intense colour. Curious this Château de Rayne Vigneau the wine had a slightly bitter end.
