2015 Quinta da Bacalhôa (Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: vivid and deep red.
- Nose: aromas of red fruits, hints of wood and spices.
- Mouth: sensations of red fruits, soft tannins well present a fresh finish, somewhat mineral, elegant and very complex.
APPELLATION: Setubal.
VINEYARD: Terroir: clayey-calcareous soil.
GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot 90% 10%.
AGEING: 13 months in new French oak barrels, with a minimum of 6 months in bottle.
PREPARATION: temperature-controlled fermentation. A period of post-fermentiva a week maceration.
WINE PAIRING: red meat dishes and game (venison or deer).
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL: 14.5%
