Gran Centenario Añejo
- Color: bright amber tone.
- Aroma: Balanced and slightly fruity nose with prominent oak notes mixed with agave, almonds, vanilla and cloves.
- Taste: Balanced, soft and slightly sweet on the palate. Flavors of cooked agave, vanilla, toasted almonds and cloves.
PRODUCER: Gran Centenario. Since 1857, the tequila was produced in small batches by Lazaro Gallardo in his tavern "La Gallardeña" but it was in 1895 that names like Gran Centenario tequila in commemoration of the new century. His son Luciano decided to bottle it in 1920, using image Angel of Independence, as it used the gold bullion coin Mexico Centennial commemorating the 100th anniversary of the independence of the country.
PRODUCTION DETAILS: This anejo tequila is made from 100% agave matured for 10 years, which is aged for 18 months in American oak barrels toasted, getting a touch of amber color. In its development process using its unique and patented "soft selection", in which different batches of tequila, strictly selected for its softness and excellent quality, thus generating its complex and smooth profile characteristic mix. Before bottling tequila is subjected to cold filtration.
