Tequila Herradura Añejo


  • View: The Tequila Herradura Añejo is an amber to deep golden reflections.
  • Nose: At first glance, have deep, rich flavors of agave cooked dominate, then more discreet touches of spices and wood smoke appears gradually.
  • Palate: After an acute attack, but sweet aromas of dried fruits and nuts gently take place in the palace, accompanied by the ubiquitous agave quite smooth. The finish is long and pleasant.

AGE: 25 months.

PRODUCER: Since 1870, in the heart of Jalisco, home to the "horseshoe" is working successfully for the manufacture of traditional tequila of the highest quality. One of its features, are prolonged aging in barrels locally made, which can give a special and recognizable taste.


PRODUCTION DETAILS: The tequilas house "Horseshoe" are all made according to traditional methods and with the utmost care. A good tequila must first be the best agave, then it's time to do their job. First, that of the growth of the plant, which is not collected before its eighth year, and slowly cook for more than a day, a chill several hours of fermentation from yeast fruit for more than three days, a double distillation and finally, aging in oak barrels for 2 years.

It is compared often with the best whiskeys in the world for its exquisite taste that leaves the . This palate tequila is aged for 25 months (twice what Mexican law requires for the aged tequilas) in oak barrels that give body and flavor and added that dark amber liquid.

- Color: Tequila Herradura Añejo treasures a delicate pale straw.
- Smell: Attractions of grilled tomato, roasted pepper, cucumber and pepper.
- Taste: A warm entry, glycerine, displays filler vine flavors of tomato, roasted nuts, dried herbs, cloves and freshly cracked black pepper. Good length. Clean finish, salted and dried with an exceptionally long white pepper, cloves and taste of lanolin. Great balance.
