2015 Donnafugata Mille e Una Notte Terre Siciliane (Nero D'Avola and Nerello Mascalese)
- View: impenetrable ruby red.
- Nose: fruity notes, sweet and ripe, balsamic and floral notes of violet, a slight accent of snuff at the end.
- Mouth: very well structured mouth, prominent personality, with soft tannins melt into a convincing balance alcohol. Olfactory-gustatory long and perfect match.
GRAPES: 90% Nero d'Avola and 10% Nerello Mascalese.
AGEING: Aged in French oak barrels for 14 months and mainly then in bottle for at least 36 months.
PREPARATION: grapes harvested in September, vinification steel, with maceration in the skins for about 12 days at a temperature of 26-30 °C. Malolactic performed.
PAIRING: dishes based on red meat, pork, lamb, fish stews tasty dishes.
