TASTING NOTES Blandys Verdelho Vintage 1979 :

- Nose: aromas of fresh resin.
- Mouth: orange peel and nuts, semi dry, full-bodied, long finish fantastic.
APPELLATION: Madeira.
VINEYARD: Blandy
GRAPES: Verdelho.
WINE PAIRING: excellent digestive, Christmas pudding, foie gras, chocolate, candied fruit and cheese.
TEMPERATURE: 10 °C as an aperitif, as dessert wine at 16 °C

I was impressed by its colour. This Blandy's Verdelho Vintage Magnum is a wine with good acidity.
I had it with cod and potatoes.
