2014 Coto de Mamoelas Super Reserva (Alvarinho)
- View: Color bright straw yellow with greenish reflections.
- Nose: intense aromas and well balanced, with strong notes of wildflowers and a balanced acidity.
- Mouth: complex, smooth taste, with a freshness and strong persistence, and some intense notes of wild flowers.
APPELLATION: Vinho verde (Vinho Verde, Portugal).
AGEING: Madura for a maximum period of 5 months in American oak barrels and then aged for 24 months in bottle.
PREPARATION: The grapes are picked and harvested manually, and then transported to the winery, where they are pressed to obtain a must of good quality, which is clarified at 12 °C for 48 hours and fermented at a controlled temperature for a period between 12 and 15 days.
PAIRING: Pasta with all kinds of seafood and grilled fish.
TEMPERATURE: 12-14 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13%
