Adega de Monção, where this Muralhas de Monção Vinho Verde Branco 2017, is produced is located in northern Portugal, on the border with Spain. This winery, founded by the union of 25 winegrowers, has existed since 1958 and produces that Vinho Verde which is now famous throughout the world.
In this region is used mainly the grape variety Alvarinho, which gives the wines a particular taste, with fresh floral and citric notes.
Over the years, the different vintages of Muralhas de Monção Vinho Verde Branco have always received numerous national and international awards 2007 has managed to score as many as 86 points out of 100 from the demanding wine critic Robert Parker. Enjoy this unique wine!

DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Vinho Verde
VINEYARD: Adega de Monção
UVE: Alvarinho, Trajadura.
PREPARATION: Selection and pressing of the grapes; decantation for 24 hours at a temperature of 14ºC; fermentation between 18º and 20ºC; primary filtration; cold stabilization; filtration and bottling.
PAIRING: Aperitifs, fish, seafood, shellfish, white meat, chicken.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 11ºC
ALCOHOL: 12.5%
