The Full Moon project in Vinhas Velhas is the result of the passionate connection that its 3 founders - João Silva e Sousa, Francisco Baptista and Manuel Dias - have maintained with the Douro for more than two decades. After so many years to be surprised by this unique wine region, in 2009 it was time to show how they saw Douro wines. The company's history begins this year, with white wines from Murça - a zone forgotten by progress, but which produces unique wines full of identity. In 2010, an investment was started in the winery in Martim, Douro, and in 2012, in the region of Alvarinho, Monção. In 2013, a partnership was also started in the Alentejo, and the grapes chosen and purchased in the region of Estremoz were vinified in third-party facilities.More about the Winery
