Cîroc Vodka 6L

Jean-Sébastien Robicquet manages the Chevanceaux distillery, which has been producing eaux-de-vie since 1830. His previous experience with the Hennessy House gives him all the credit for combining two wine-growing traditions: those of cognac and wine. It is in the name of this know-how that he created in 2012 the vodka Cîroc 6l "Snap Frost ", made from French grapes and not from grains or potatoes.

The unique signature of Cîroc is the passage through five distillations. The grapes of each grape variety (white mauzac, from the Gaillac region and white ugni, from the Cognac region) are harvested after the first winter frosts ("snap frost"). After a cold vinification reserved for the best wines, the grapes undergo four first distillations, separately. The white mauzac is distilled in column stills and the white ugni in stainless steel stills. The blend of 95% of the white mauzac and 5% of the white ugni is placed in a copper still pot for a fifth distillation, followed by a reduction to obtain an alcohol volume of 40%.

Cîroc 6l responds to this sophisticated treatment by revealing exceptional freshness and an excellent aromatic palette. Sweet aromas of freshly picked flowers, a touch of mint and a light liquorice scent. A smooth and silky texture with a fresh citrus taste and a smooth and creamy finish. An ultra-premium vodka to enjoy on ice, as a long drink or in cocktails.
