Lagavulin 12 Year old

This pale gold cask strength Lagavulin is bursting with intense distillery character. This limited release was matured in refill American Oak hogsheads and is sweeter than the past few years. It has a powerfully smoky nose with a tar soap base and sea salt. The palate is smoothly oily with an exquisitely powerful taste, before a strong and salty finish with plenty of Islay smoke.
