Lagavulin 8 Years

Lagavulin whiskey 8 years was created in honor of the scribe of whiskey Alfred Barnard. In the nineteenth century, Barnard tried a Lagavulin 8 years during one of his visits to Islay, and described him as "exceptionally good and reputed". Exclusively aged in barrels of second fill American oak, Lagavulin 8 is, depending on the distillery, "whiskey superbly full malt". Tasting note that Lagavulin offers includes warm flavors, sweet and smoky on the palate, with notes of charcoal, chocolate mint and black. Felicidades a lagavulin por su aniversario y por este excelente whisky

Aroma: Remembrance of freshly cut grass, such is the feeling of cleanliness that offers home. He continues scented fireplace, wood fire and finally smoke. And it stops there, the naturalness of smoke is extraordinary and certainly addictive. Maybe they help the notes to gasoline. There is also a sweet background, light, from fruits and nuts.

Palate: Invade mouth smoke is recognized as a classic Lagavulin precisely the intention of the distillery so you can not ask for more. More fresh grass, rock and sea salt. As it should be.

Final: More than long, endless, invades every centimeter of the mouth, keeping notes, without saturating.
