Lagavulin Distillers Edition 1998 Pedro Ximenez is a limited edition of Classic Malts. This distillery is located directly on the southern coast of the island of Islay between distilleries Laphroaig and Ardbeg. This inimitable trio, extreme, is regarded as the perfect embodiment of a typical style, incomparable Islay smoky and peaty. This version has more of a second refining: with its powerful temperament, dry and complex, with its marine notes features, it fits wonderfully with sweet accents of dried grapes from the sun emanating barrels Pedro-Ximenez. A narrow fringe of schist and hornblende forms a coastal strip of the overlying quartzite hills and brings Lagavulin as its romantic bay and the island of Texa. Islay distillery is mainly peat.
