You will like to know that…
Macallan is most likely derived from two Gaelic words - Magh and Ellan.
Magh means 'fertile piece of ground' and
Ellan stands for 'St. Fillan', name of a monk who spreaded Christianity in Scotland during the eighth century.
So Macallan represents an alliance of nature and faith.
