VAT 69 Whisky is produced in beautiful Scotland, in the famous distillery William Sanderson Ltd.
In the late 19th century William Sanderson decided to produce a blended Scotch whisky. William Sanderson and his son put together over a hundred different blends. Then the samples were tested by some experienced blending masters and friends. Then the testers selected the barrel they thought was the best. The majority of the testers chose the vat number 69, which gave the new blend its name.

- Color: Vat 69 1L shows a straw yellow color
- Smell: Hints of spice and caramel barley malt notes, with a character of wheat. A touch of pear juice.
- Taste: ground almonds and barley malt. Lightly cupcake over the notes of pear, a little pepper. Rounded Dulce. Finishing: wood, spicy finish. Candy.

William Sanderson & Son is a Scottish distillery named after the founder and his eldest son, who would later become a partner.
