TASTING NOTES:
- Color: Whisky Nikka From The Barrel (Pack Lot Gift) 50cl has an amber color.
- Smell: Fruity and floral, with aromas of apricot banana and pineapple, oranges and some new oak. Honey, almonds, cinnamon and vanilla, a little pepper too. sherry scent balanced.
- Taste: Creamy with a lot of force at a time. Malta and nougat. Caramelized sugar, fresh lemon, fruit tea. Drier towards the end, with spices like nutmeg. Finishing long, malt and spicy with a slightly bitter taste.

Of the two malt whiskey distilleries Nikka Yoichi tastier, male and peat malt aromas. The whiskey gets its distinct aroma and body from direct heating distillation, in which the stills are heated with natural charcoal, fine powder - the traditional method that is rarely used today, even in Scotland.
